Alchemy: The Science Behind the Craft
October 18 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Alchemy & Witchcraft
The Art of Transformation, Elemental Wisdom & Magical Practice
Alchemy is an ancient spiritual and philosophical tradition centered on transformation—the transformation of matter, consciousness, energy, and the self. In this course, students explore the history and symbolism of alchemy and discover how its principles connect with witchcraft, ritual practice, elemental magic, herbalism, meditation, and personal transformation.
The course introduces the four classical elements, planetary and elemental correspondences, alchemical symbolism, sacred vessels, purification, transmutation, and the concept of turning the “ordinary” into the “extraordinary.” Students will explore how alchemical ideas can be incorporated into witchcraft through spellwork, ritual, intention-setting, shadow work, herbal practices, candle magic, and spiritual development.
Rather than focusing solely on the historical goal of transforming metals into gold, this course emphasizes inner alchemy—using magical and spiritual practices to transform fear into courage, confusion into clarity, limitation into possibility, and personal challenges into opportunities for growth.
By the end of the course, students will have a foundational understanding of alchemical philosophy and its relationship to witchcraft, along with practical ways to incorporate alchemical symbolism and transformative practices into their own spiritual path.
Cancellations are accepted 48 hours in advance.
