Explore the Wheel of the Year
The Sabbats are seasonal celebrations observed within many contemporary Pagan, Wiccan, and witchcraft traditions. Connected to the cycles of the Sun, Earth, nature, agriculture, and the changing seasons, the Sabbats provide opportunities for reflection, celebration, spiritual connection, personal transformation, and honoring the natural world.
This immersive course introduces students to the eight Sabbats of the Wheel of the Year—Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas/Lughnasadh, and Mabon—while exploring their historical development, spiritual significance, seasonal symbolism, ritual traditions, and modern applications.
Students will learn how the Wheel of the Year can be used as a framework for understanding cycles of life, death, growth, transformation, renewal, balance, harvest, gratitude, and reflection.
The course emphasizes understanding the traditions and spiritual concepts behind the Sabbats while encouraging students to develop their own meaningful seasonal practices.
Cancellations are accepted 48 hours in advance.
